September 23, 20222 yr To give the producers credit, I thought the split house was an excellent twist. Despite the results, it did its job in mixing up the house. It made a nice change from the usual ‘powers’ and something that I would have expected to come from Big Brother Canada! HOH spoilers: Turner won part 1 and Monte won part 2 omg of course…! Big Brother gonna Big Brother
September 23, 20222 yr I've been into the season a lot more than I have with BBUS in YEARS (I'd say since 17) to be honest, my issue is pretty much everything you expected to happen has happened. But that's a Big Brother thing a lot of the time, the boot order has been pretty much perfect and satisfying (Michael and Joseph are the only two I wished lasted longer over Brittany at least, but Michael's eviction was great TV and peak Big Brother). But what Taylor went through at the start was rough and there was so many horrible people in this cast, whilst they all went soon enough, we still had too much of some of them  The twists have been great, I agree that they were something really different and actually worked really well. Usually BBUS twists are either damp squibs or they are such a mess they just destroy the season. So it was an odd one with glaring issues and ups and downs, but certainly a step up from the past few thanks to the highs. It was really awful seeing how Taylor was treated at the start so it would be so satisfying for her to win and get AFP, it's what she deserves.
September 26, 20222 yr Monte would have won like... probably unanimously against Turner, but TAYLOR!!! I think she wins now and that is just such an amazing, satisfying win, probably the most ever for me?? Like she went through hell, was on the block countless times and every time her back was against the wall, she came out on the other side even better and most crucially she has built relationships with people to get herself back from the brink. That's something I think a lot of comp beasts or strategic threats forget, it's the jury who have your fate in their hands.
September 26, 20222 yr Author She may actually have the votes to win, that was a very good jury speech.
September 26, 20222 yr That was an incredible speech, chills  And even if I wasn't hugely biased, she's right! So often, the winner is boiled down to comp wins or "big moves" but surviving the amount that Taylor has is huge, let alone to go from week 1 target to being in a position to win the whole game. 24 seasons in, it's hard for there to be firsts or a unique game in Big Brother, and Taylor for me is such a great winner because of that. We've had a Monte so many times, it's refreshing even without everything else.
September 26, 20222 yr Ameerah is VILE there was absolutely no need to bring up a nomance in front of Joseph lmao just for a bit of attention because she was irrelevant the entire season
September 26, 20222 yr  Just so heartwarming and fully fully deserved. I think when all is said and done, Taylor is my favourite winner for how satisfying her win is, as I've said with all she's been through! And AFP too, to know that she is so loved on top of winning the game, I'm just so so happy for her. Kyle top 3 for AFP though, something must have gone SERIOUSLY wrong?!
September 26, 20222 yr I jumped up so high, this show (in all its forms) never works out so perfectly!! What a turnaround from a dead cert Week 1 exit and having people wanting you out every single week. I agree that I’m relieved that it’s finally not just all about comp wins because half of them are based on luck and the game is a social one and how you can use the power, wherever it lies, to your advantage. I still stand by that Taylor’s not a great BB player in the traditional sense but she absolutely deserved that win after what she’s been up against. Her final speech really summed it up, resilience makes a great BB winner. Poor Joseph in that episode though, let’s hope Taylor ditches Monte now he’s given her the $750,000 Why’d they put them in the backyard again though??
September 26, 20222 yr Taylor winning just felt so right, I felt so proud watching her final speech (incredible!!! while Monte faltered at this moment) and then the votes coming in (and Turner's admitted he was hoping to vote with the majority, clearly he didn't mind who won, but guessed the wrong way ) and her reaction to winning. History-making in more than one way and it's so deserved, this really has been the season of Taylor Hale and her story. What a season, I feel exhausted and I'm kinda glad it's over but I have no idea what will become of my Twitter now, it's never been so BB-heavy!!
October 7, 20222 yr Author @1578212365073530894  MARCELLAS!! Although he’s absolutely wrong, he should have used the veto on himself in Season 3!
December 3, 20222 yr Author Big Brother 10 & 14 have been added to Netflix, oddly enough. However, the gallery images they are using on the app includes houseguests from other seasons, including other names in the cast summary - so maybe more to come?!
December 6, 20222 yr Author @1600195756925005824 I am never usually a fan of Showmances, but oddly enough I always found Tyler and Angela very suitable for each other and I appreciated their restraint during their season together. Shame they didn’t make it all the way, one of the better BB Couples that’s for sure.
January 12, 20232 yr Author BB Twitter is ablaze today with rumours of BB25 being a Second Chance season with callbacks starting this week. This would be my Wishlist/realistic expectation/messy desire season. Amber, Tiffany and Hannah should be a clear cut choices. Britini, Donny, Helen, Kalia, Michael Jessica and John are probably high on a shortlist somewhere. Amy, Chiara, Jen, Roddy and Hardy are all completely random choices that will never happen.
