I expect either Beyoncé or Mary J. to win this, probably Beyoncé since they repeatedly rape her every year.

I think Mary J. for this one, they surely wouldn't give a Grammy to one of the biggest flop singles of the year? (Deja Vu)

Incase people are wondering, the only reason why Don't Forget About Us is the only Mariah track to be nominated is because it wasn't on the original package of Mimi, the rest of Mimi is cut off by the date restrictions, however since DFAU appeared on the re-release it IS eligible this year. :funky: I don't expect her to win, but nice to be nominated! :D

Fantastic news. I was wondering about these nominations before I went out.

She'll lose both to Blige though

I agree, actually if I had to handpick someone for Mariah to lose to it would be Mary J so all is good in the hood. B)

Yeah 'Be Without You' is the only other song on that list I've bought so I can't complain too much.

I think 'Don't Forget About Us' is the better of the two 'We Belong Together' knock-offs though

I agree Tim, I prefer DFAU too! I think Beyonce or Mary J will win though!
I'm not just gonna say this because Mariah's my favourite artist out of them, but for the vocal performance one.. she really does deserve it, her vocals on DFAU are really strong and her range is amazing. R n B song, I'd like Mariah to win, but if she doesn't then I hope Beyonce does becuase her song is more... r n b than DFAU in a way and it was a success in England so not a complete flop. It's my second all time favourite Beyonce song, so I'd like it to win :P

Well said. Mariah is the best vocalist of the bunch so she "should" win that one.

She won't though because Mary J. is all ghetto and real. Bollocks.

 Tim. I love Mariah's vocals on DFAU too, and I think they are the best in that group. In that song, we have real vocal acrobatics - whisper, rap, belting notes, whistle, it has it all! But DFAU was released too long a go. Everyone is loving Mary J there at the moment, I wouldn't mind if she beat Mariah. BEYONCE better not win though -_-

Hope she does well

she i see Mary J, swiping alot of awards, but i really like her too so :D

Me too, especially after she praised Mariah so much, bought her GH the other day ^_^

Both lost to MJB. -_-

Well we knew it would happen so there's no great shock. ^_^

Shame, but yeah it was expected :(

At least Christina won one. :D

Shame, but it was obvious that Mary was going to win those categories.

Gutted that Natasha Bedingfield lost out.

Natasha was never a front runner for the award unfortunately. I think Christina deserved it though.
Anyway it's as if she dosn't have enouth already :P
  • Author
Well she has 5, there's always room for more. :D Janet and Christina both have 5 too. ^_^
It was great that she was nominated. Thanks for the update Kelly. ^_^
