Yeah she said this in the doc with Leigh-Anne from Little Mix. Its a shame, you can tell she isn't really passionate about this kind of music :(.

hopefully she joins a label that actually allow her creative freedom, the only half decent thing about polydor is they are very good at marketing an artist, Raye hasn't really managed to do well commercially as a solo and same as becky hill but they always manage to get good playlisting.
I didn't know this song is R&B. I really thought it was POP. :teresa:

Is she including 'Natalie Don't' and 'Please Don't Touch' in that? :(

I think more from the dance songs like Regardless, this and the features she always does.

I'm in two minds about this because part of me is annoyed that she can't get a hit but on the other hand even though I like the song is it really amazing enough to do well.

I think the main issue is that British pop music is so dead nowadays and only Dua and Little Mix who have massive fan bases can get hits.

It's making me think this is the last chance she has with her current label :(.

That’s my thoughts too.

It’s so sad as she seems so desperate for this to do well, I feel like she can always be a collab artist and produce and write songs but it doesn’t seem to be working out for her, polydor have been good with playlist positions though

I wouldn't go that far - Dua and Little Mix are of course the biggest current British pop acts but there are others that are still doing pretty well (Mimi Webb has just had 2 fairly big hits in a row as a complete newcomer, Anne-Marie is still getting hits too). They may not be dominating but they're not completely absent either.

I’d of thought as a songwriter and a feature artist doing well her label wouldn’t drop her as they get a percentage of that money don’t they?
Exciting! Has she had any singles playlist before?
