October 14, 20213 yr Christmas albums are not want fans like to have. When Robbie did his I was also not happy. It turned out a good album. I am sure Gary's will be great as a Christmas/swing/jazz album and also quite successful. He has a long career. This is a missing until now.
October 15, 20213 yr Sometimes Christmas albums can be ok, kylies christmas album was fine and had some good tracks but I dont get the same buzz from a chrustmas album as I would with a normal studio album but if a christmas single is done well I enjoy it, leona Lewis one more sleep for example was great.

October 28, 20213 yr I wonder will the Sheridan smith track get pushed in December with the dream of Christmas serving as a warm from now until then. Interesting to see how the Christmas album goes for him, i would like to think he has the fanbase to go top 10 but fanbases sometimes dont treat Christmas albums the same as regular albums.

October 30, 20213 yr I think that he will do well with the album. Many huge names will bring out a Christmas single. But TT and Gary have a fanbase granting quite a success. Personally I am not a fan of Christmas albums and not because of Christmas. I always see it a yearly Cash machine the artist hopes to have if it is successful. I said the same when Rob did his Christmas album. It was then surprisingly non-Christmassy good. I hope the same for Gary's album.
October 30, 20213 yr I pretty much feel the same about christmas albums, they feel like a lack of creativity and cash in, sometimes you can get 1 or 2 good songs on them and the rest is pretty much forgettable. I think he has a strong enough fanbase to go top 10 or higher and get another gold album.
October 30, 20213 yr Christmas albums can often be bought by fans only to keep their collections complete rather than actually buying them as they like them. That said, some Christmas albums can be very good if artists take a few risks.
November 1, 20213 yr In a way i wonder why Take That didnt do the Christmas album rather than Gary as a solo artist, i think Take That are a bigger name to sell albums but maybe Mark and Howard arent ready just yet to return to Take That.
