You've got to read this link everybody! :cheer:

Found it by chance. First I've heard of it but I really hope it's true. Would love to see them supporting Robbie. Miles better than the Ordinary Boys -_-

Miles better than the Ordinary Boys

I disagree.

IMO they are not as good "music wise", such as The Killers or Scissor Sisters.

I think I'll have to bring a book with me to read - whilst the support acts are on.

No, Orson are not as good as The Killers but The Killers aint an option (unfortunately  ). I would love it if they were.

But I would certainly prefer Orson to the Ordinary Boys (who obviously didn't want to be Robbie's Support Act in the first place and who according to their fan forum apparently bowed to Fan Pressure because their fans didn't think Robbie was 'cool' enough for them. Although Preston going on Celeb Big Brother apparently did pass the 'cool' test. )

I have never heard of them Jupiter. All I can say about the Ordinary Boys, is silly boys. Cool or not you don't pass up mega audiences. Silly fans. :puke2:

Gosh what a fantastic few weeks I've had, Soccer Aid and now gearing up for Dublin, can't wait either Scotty.

I don't know much about Orson, but both their singles have been great! I'm sure they will get the crowd going

I've liked their singles too. They are quite a 'Rocky' group so they should be quite good. My friend saw them supporting Duran Duran last year. She said they were excellent.

I may even buy their album. It was released today (I think). :)

The Official Site has now been updated to confirm that Orson are replacing the Ordinary Boys as the opening act. But Orson are not at all the gigs. You need to check the Tour page and click on each individual show to see who is supporting. :)

My Hampden Park gig has Orson and Basement Jaxx as Support. I'm looking forward to that. :cheer:

The Dublin gig just seems to have the Beautiful South but if you look at the 'on stage' times there is a very big gap between B.S. going on and Robbie going on. Either B.S. are playing a very long set or there is another act in there somewhere.

Well i on;y know a few of Beautiful Souths songs so i don't want the set to be to long <_<

I hope their is someone else too though, :D

It says the Beautiful South are on stage at 18.00 and Robbie at 20.30. That can't be right. There is too big a gap, no?

Yes, it is a very big gap. That would mean they would be on even longer than Rob :o
of course if Robbie has an elaborate set there will need to be a gap of about an hour while they get it ready ....not unusual

We must be getting the cheapo stage at Hampden then :o

Orson 18.00

Basement Jaxx 19.00

Robbie 20.30.

( Stage kit bought from MFI. Self-assembly in 15 minutes. )

They have changed the times haven't they. I thought Robbie was going on at 8.45. Must be me having a bad day. :)
