So, apparently (and this is confirmed by Shaki herself), Beyonce :wub: and her are gonna collaborate on a song together. Does anybody know or heard about this? Any other info? Cuz these are two of my favorite music artists and I would soooo want to know more about it.

I've heard the supposed song that they're meant to do together and it's called Beautiful Liar. It's not that great but I think with a bit of Shakira tweaking it could be pretty good. I'll try to find the download link...

Eugh i really didn't want this to happen, just goddam, how many duets in this era now, she may as well release a duets album :lol: <_<

Well, think about this, she's gonna take a four year break (like she did LS-FO1, though I'm [hopefully] just exaggerating) and doing collaborations that might be singles will just keep her in the limelight during that four- or three- or two-year long break.

SHE BETTER NOT TAKE A 4 YEAR BREAK! 1 - 1 and a half at the most...i dont they will sound right singing together but i wanna hear it.

I hope she does keep on doing duets or at least something to keep her profile up. Hopefully the gap between albums won't be as long as last time because last time she only started touring when the LS era was fizzling out.

 

Re-introducing herself this time seemed like really hard work because everyone had forgotton about her, she'd completely dropped off the radar after LS.

Beyonce Knowles has revealed that she'd love to work with Latin firecracker Shakira - and has even penned a song for what looks set to be one of the most glamorous pairings in pop.

I think if she does wait another four years it could be the end of shakira over here... she may not come up with another WW or HDL on the next album to save her so she needs it done within 1.6 year. I had forgotten about shakira coz she had been away that long and then i saw LT on mtv.com and i was like OMG its her... which made me think maybe she has been releasing everywhere but just not here... my other thought was shakira sings in spanish? :lol: and then a few months later i was watching the EMA's and she sang DB and i was like :o:O and then matty shoed me the australian 5star thing where you could hear all of her songs and then i fell in love with her ^_^ and i think i can say that i am a true shakira fan now :lol: as i know and like most of her spanish songs from quite a few years ago ^_^

i'm for this collabo i wasn't sure at teh beginning but ist ok now , beyonce has been after this for a long time she is a big fan and she's proved it imo, i think shakira must have realised when beyonce went to see her on tour that she was genuine and liked beyonce's personality away from the cameras and agreed to make a fans wish come true, i'm sure shakira will have input on the track but i'd love it if there was two version the beyonce production and the shakira production

this could well be a huge hit for both of them if relkeased

i really do hope they end up releasing a song together
