hmmm like i said before if rob really wants to do well with a single he needs to release APTC, but hopefully SSS will rise in the charts

Got my copies this morning after much searching in Virgin & HMV!

 

I really like Our Love and the Chris Coco remix of Sin just has to be played loud! :dance:

 

I laughed at the making of clips as well - just a shame there isn't a bit more!

My copies were delivered by Postman Pat this morning. Well done HMV On-Line. :cheer: I'm impressed

Our Love is now official brilliant in my book though :wub:

I am going to have an alcoholic beverege and play my CD/DVD.

I shall report back with my findings forthwith. -_-

Enhanced CD-

- I love Our Love more and more

- The Dance version of SSS unsettles me. It stops, starts and pauses in all the wrong places.

- The U-myx enhanced thing. I've no idea what it's for, what it does or why its there. And it seems to auto-run when you try to play the CD in your computer. So I removed the CD from said computer and played it on normal CD player. I think it allows you to remix SSS or something.... :unsure:

 

 

DVD-

- Video I've downloaded anyway.

- Other B-Sides same as above.

- Making of DVD is really funny but quite short.

John Earls the Reviewer on Telextext gave SSS 8/10 today :o . Says its Robbie's best single in years. :o :o :o :o

I tried to buy it today and could only get one copy of the single only..no DVD. Woolies said they were not sent very many by the distributor, which they found most strange, its as if they are not really bothered.

 

I can't understand it, no promo, nothing to buy over the counter, and then you wonder why its not doing very well.

jupiter, why didn't i think of buying on line. Best way to do it. Could not get a copy at all today. Unbelievable, and the sales lady said sometimes the record company do limit the stock because they don't want it to be a hit, sounds stupid to me, but that is what she said.

 

So for the first time in years I have not bought a Robbie Williams single on the first day of release :angry:

 

I am bloody annoyed.

 

I love 'Our Love' right from the first listen, simple lyrics but an amazing melody and well crafted. His voice is exceptional. Really wanted to buy it today for the 'B' side. So very disappointed that I have not got it in my CD player tonight.

Ther were plentl of copies in Asda this evening - not sure if that's good or bad now :huh:

Most of the people who are buying it are fans who want the b-side cause it has'nt been promoted enough for people who have'nt got the album <_<

I always need to buy my Robbie singles on-line. There are no shops near me that sell singles any more. :(

It looks like this album has sold too much copies in a too short period, which means it has killed now all the changes of having more hits or a longer chart run... IC is nowhere to be seen in the albums chart. This is by far the shortest chart run by a Robbie album in the UK, probably because it sold ridiculously high in the first weeks.

Yeah, i agree. And the fact that load of people still have'nt heard or seen Sin Sin SIn on Radio/Tv certainly does'nt help -_-

 

I expect the album to hopefully rise in the coming weeks and also with the tour coming up as well :)

But he only has himself and him record company to blame. I mean he has done absolutelly no promo and the vid only started to be show a few days before it's release so i am not overly shocked but did'nt expect it to do THIS bad :huh:

He needed to be more down to earth, he thinks just because he´s a superstar he needs to do nothing to have hits and sell... Remember what happened to the Spice Girls, who thought they were so big they didn´t need to promote their 3rd album, and where are they now.
