Well it is bad news, it is lower than I even thought it would come in at, I had hoped it would scrape into the Top 20..I was never very positive about this release as you know. :(

He hasn't promoted it whatsoever, the distributor has sent out minimal copies, and I was told by one shop, they get the feeling they are going thru the motions and are not really bothered if its a hit or not.

While I understand what everyone is saying, but I don't think you can compare an 8th album release with a 3rd release, but it is worth keeping it in mind, and I don't think the Spice Girls were ever famous for their live shows in quite the same way as Robbie is so I don't think that the "were is he now" will actually come into it. Robbie will always be around doing something, if he wants to be.

So choppy waters ahead and it will sort out the true fans from the fair weather ones I think. :(

But boy hasn't he had a good run.

OK. I'm verging on the seriously displeased. :smoke:

Sin Sin Sin is languishing at about No 24 in the midweek charts. Whilst I know that Robbie probably doesn't give a toss about Hit Singles (and EMI definitely dont), it is still an embarassment.

Can we all just stop and imagine the headlines in VNs Bizarre page in the Sun on Monday? :o It will be horrible. :puke2:

Given that you can get to No1 these days with sales of about 20,000, how many singles must Robbie have sold to be at No 24? It's ridiculous.

With the Number of devoted UK fans he has he should never be selling so few singles. (And I've bought 2 copies. If it wasn't for me he'd probably be outside the Top 30  ).

So here's my plea. If you are a big Robbie fan but don't usually buy singles can you make an exception this week? Otherwise I won't be able to face buying a newspaper next week.

Well said Jupiter. With the millions of Robbie fans in the UK it is shocking that so few have bought it.

Oh and another thing that pissed me off it the fact that SSS missing the top 10 will end his consecitive run of top 10 hits which spans over 9 years.

It is extremly fustraiting

Oh Scotty that's awful.

I didn't know that. :(

Would it make any difference if I downloaded another copy?

:( :( :( :(

Have to admit I don't usually buy the singles if I already have the song on a album of his.

I'll buy one tomorrow

Well done Sparkle. :cheer:

You are a true fan indeed.

( With my extra download and your cd he could be looking at Number 23. )

:o

You're not a bad fan Sparkle but you've probably missed out on tons of brilliant B-Sides!

PM me with a list of the one's you have and I'll see if you are missing any fantastic ones. You can then download them if you like. :)

By the way I've just downloaded another copy of SSS. I am 79p the poorer but I don't care. -_-
