how are we feeling about this two weeks on?

 

personally i don't feel like it's "aged" per se, but it definitely doesn't stack-up to the monster singles they've had in 2021 - the song definitely falls short for Little Mix's standards IMO, i feel like the only part that pops is the second chorus where Perrie leads it w/Jade & Leigh riffing over it. It's definitely a non-event

 

as an Anne-Marie song it's sorta fine? I'm not a huge fan but this is something I expect from her, I just wish it had a bit more Little Mix magic included.

It’s growing on me to be fair. Too early to say where I’d rank it yet.

Tbh the only time I've listened is when playing Anne-Maries album. I've not really been drawn to this much but I do like it and hope it can spend a good few weeks top 20.

agreed, heartbreak anthem is still holding up well and whilst i don't think this will damage them in anyway they could've passed on this and then allowed the hunger for solo little mix in September to grow but oh well

It was the collaboration no-one asked for or wanted, but I'm glad the threat of a collab is finally out the way.

 

It's a good song but it's nowhere near as good as the music they've released lately...

I bought a ticket for the Anne Marie live show and it sounds more impactful live...

 

The 4 of them would smash it live.

 

I agree though, it’s nowhere near as exciting as the singles from Confetti or HA.

 

At least it’s not a total flop, I don’t think it’ll damage them at all.

 

Loads of songs above it are hitting ACR so it should go top 15.

But also they're def gonna continue as a Take That-esque group which is the best option, keeping Little Mix alive but exploring different avenues is their best bet. They've broken all boundaries as a girl group and now they can rewrite what it means for a girl group in the pop industry.
