Holy $h!t :o I never expected it to even sell out, never mind less than a week after they went on sale

Seating still available? ooooo people going to see the concert are in for a treat/ shock when she sings the songs they have prob nver heard before... hopefully this will mean that she adds a date to ireland.. manchester,glasgow and cardiff and maybe birmingham.. that should cover the whole country?

I don't think many people that will go to the concert will be unfamiliar with Shakira. I reckon the majority of them will be Latinos and then her fan base.

 

I hope she adds a date in Manchester because there is a large Latin community up north too that work in the hospitals. I'm sure she could sell out somewhere like Manchester Apollo.

Yeah manchester apollo is tiny, i went to see kelly c there.. it is really intimate.. if she does that and not the M.E.N .. i shall try and get tickets really early in the morning coz if you get at the front there you can virtually have a conversation with her.. well if it wasn't so loud :lol: ... i wonder if she will do so well that she will sell out loads of places :kink: ... or do you think that she won't add anything due to being fed up with touring?

I have a feeling they won't though, although, they seem to have been quite good so far at seeing where they can add more dates because she went back to Miami to do another 5 shows on top of what she had already done.

 

Kelly Clarkson didn't originally have many UK dates and some of them were in small places like the apollo, then she sold them out and she added quite a few more in bigger places like the MEN which was where I saw her :D

Yeah i remember having to wait till 9am and getting the tickets on pre-sale, got great seats too... but it didn't go and see her again in the arenas... wish i did tho coz she is fantastic live.

i wish i could make the date, i hope she comes up north after this nearly selling out.

all i can tell you is when i was at TOTM in 2002 i was suprised to see so many latin people and many colombians with their flags some were draping from the terraces it was amazing they came out to support shakira, in fact the whole concert was really an exotic mix so many different races but the best part was the range of ages it was young to old and 50-50 split between male and female, no actually the best part was the fact it wasn't dominated by teenage girls all screaming and drowning out the noise like they did at the JT concert i made the mistake of going to! that was such a b**ch do not go to see JT! it was awful the 90% teen girls screaming "justin justin" in high volume ruined it!

 

Yeah, I think Shakira's fanbase is pretty diverse. When I went to see Kelly Clarkson it was practically all 14 year old girls with their mum. They were all about 5 ft tall and when I came and pushed in front of them they had to get their mum to tell me I was a bast*rd.

I hope she adds a date for Birmingham, that's the only way I'm gonna get to see her. I mean like.. I am a fan but I would only go and see her if she came to my city lol. I wouldn't travel to Manchester or London to see her, I'm not that dedicated. ADD A BIRMINGHAM DATE!
