Posted December 9, 200618 yr Hi everybody, sorry if the title got your hopes up for some new robbie songs. I recently decided to make some music for some songs that i wrote and i recorded them with me singing them. You lot being Robbie fans, as i am, i thought who better to ask for their opinions on them than people with such good taste in music, plus i was influenced by robbies music and his style. Well, his style prior to rudebox anyways. i uploaded them onto rapidshare and i have put the links in here. If anybody wants to download them i would like to hear everybodys opinions of them, and be honest. here they are:- Dazza - A Million Strangers Dazza - Never Felt I must appologise for the quality of the recordings, i just used very basic equipment, basically a sound recording program and a microphone, and they are in wav format. December 9, 200618 yr OMG Dazza :o That's really really good !!!! Been listening to One million strangers and I love that kind of music. It was very hard to hear/ understand the lyrics for me though besides One million strangers that is ^_^ I think this thread belongs in The Lounge though because that way more BJ members will notice it.

I know what you mean when you say that it's a bit hard to understand, like i said i did use very basic equipment and i'm not entirely sure how to use that properly. I'm not entirely happy with the way these sound, but it is my first attempt, was wanting to re-record them but have had abit of a sore throat recently, will try and do it soon tho.

You obviously have a talent for writing. :o Thanks, i've actually wrote quite a few more songs, but haven't made any music for them yet. The program that i used for those 2 is very limited as for sounds to use so if i just keep using that then they are all going to sound pretty much exactly the same, that's why those 2 sound quite similar.

Do you play gigs or anything? I wouldn't even know where to start when doing something like that. I don't play any gigs or anything, i've never really had the confidence. You guys on here are the first people to here these songs.

You sound better than some of the most popular singers today :o I don't understand the words much but I can hear the music and it's fantastic! Here are a couple more, the first one is me singing and playing my guitar, it's another song i wrote called "now's the time" I actually had a string missing on my guitar on this and messed up a couple of times, but think i covered it well. Now's the time This next one is actually a karaoke version of a celine dion song, sad i know, but i was just pratting about with this one to see what it would sound like, and i quite like it actually, see what you think?
