December 10, 200619 yr Author what do u think there chances of winning are? I think they're pretty good. ^_^ They have some stiff competition for some awards but I think they should win Best Rock Album. Not sure about actual Best Album though. They have as good a chance as any of the acts nominated though. :D Its an award in itself just to be nominated. ^_^
December 11, 200619 yr Author i cannot see them winning best overall album above any of the others I agree. I think Justin Timberlake will win that. Its gone down in the US a lot better than it has over here. I thought it was all a bit $h!t ans long when I first heard it, but i've being listening to it quite a lot lately on my ipod and its grown on me immensley. I used to hate the 7 minute songs but now i've grown to really like them. ^_^ I've being listening to the new single (Lovestoned) quite a bit lately and its very good. Shame for the radio edit they'll no doubt cut the best part out of the track though. :(
December 11, 200619 yr they've got some tough competition in the overall album category with JT and gnarls barkley but i think they have a good chance with best rock song (but i wouldn't be too miffed if the killers won that one, hehe ;) )
December 11, 200619 yr Author i hope justin doesnt win his new stuff is c**p Nah his new stuff is quite good in my opinion. :P You just need patience with his new material. ^_^ they've got some tough competition in the overall album category with JT and gnarls barkley but i think they have a good chance with best rock song (but i wouldn't be too miffed if the killers won that one, hehe ;) ) Well I hope Gnarls doesn't win. I thought the album and it was very disapointing. I think they do have a very good chance with winning best rock song though. ^_^
December 11, 200619 yr Author maybe but i just cant get into his new stuff at all Just give it all a bit of pateince. :D The two singles he's brought out, aren't even the best on the album. ^_^
December 13, 200619 yr Well I hope Gnarls doesn't win. I thought the album and it was very disapointing. I think they do have a very good chance with winning best rock song though. ^_^ yeah, i've got the album too and its not that great, i'm just going by the "critical acclaim" it got when it was released- everyone made such a big fuss!
