There are actually 3 versions.....

Four.... The original 60s version (cant remember who the hell did it..), Soft Cell (pretty much the definitive version), Tarrie B/My Ruin(pretty okay actually..), and Manson (the absolute worst version of the song...)

Gloria Jones, I wrote it back a bit. I didn't know My Ruin did it, thats why I said 3.

My Ruin didn't release it as a single, they have it as a track on the "Speak And Destroy" album... Full credit to My Ruin for being about the only Nu Metal band never to be tacky enough to do the whole "let's release a cover version so we can get on MTV" thing.... My Ruin always do one cover as an album track because it's usually a song that they either genuinely love, or the song's themes and imagery fits into the album generally and actually compliments the album as opposed to sticking out like a sore thumb (eg, Cradle of Filth's AWFUL cover of "Temptation" which almost succeeds in totally derailing the otherwise excellent "Thornography")...

Wasn't that that c**p song that just sampled the signature keyboard bit off the Soft Cell version...? <_< Hated that with a passion... Was that Pussycat Dolls who did that...? Oh well, one more reason to hate them.... -_-
