OMG is that how low album 'sales' are these days? Under 5K for a top three album. :o

 

God, I remember when I used to follow the charts and you'd need like 20K to get that high.

Ikr and most of them are streaming points.

 

HMV only managed to come back thanks to the surge in Vinyl sales.

Yeah album sales are horrific and it was quite a sudden change. To think Glory Days sold 1.2m even Adele isn't hitting that now.

 

Harry Stylws last album has been top 40 since Dec 2019 and isn't even 2xplat.

Harry is almost there for double platinum but it has taken a while but I agree album sales are so low nowadays that double platinum is seen as absolutely huge. Between us is doing well and I think it has loads of sales left in it yet but will take at least a year or more to go platinum.

The fact it's the 5th highest selling album with like 70k sales this year is mad. Albums used to sell that in a week.

I miss the days when albums could sell those numbers in a week and especially at Christmas when the top 10 would all have over 100k.

#11 in midweeks, will probably end the week at around 4-6 judging by current sales, i really wish they done something. I also hope they release another version of between us single (live version) so fans can download in a couple of weeks

Except that greatest hits albums never have that trajectory in recent times.

It’s big but all LM’s sales are streaming points pretty much.

 

#3 has only sold 400 copies since Monday so I guess if the sales tail off completely Between Us could potentially jump ahead it’ll be so close though.

Another week top 5 is a great result, I'm guessing Olivia will probably take over, I wonder if they could manage it next week tbh

Jade posted about the album possibly going top three, I really wish they done one last push because this going top 3 would be an even better accomplishement especially peaking months after its release

Some social media pushing throughout the week might have helped more but good to see Jade posting, it really would be great to see the album re peaking months after its release.
