Have been thinking about this, 33k on week 1 with no promo, no big hits, no hype is actually very good.

Confetti opened with 49k and that had 2 semi big hits already, Sweet Melody, LM the search, promo, a chart battle etc

It’s actually pretty impressive.

The multiple formats helped though. I'm not sure they've ever had these many formats. If they just did a CD and a vinyl like Rod Stewart did, he possibly could have debuted higher than the girls.

I think the formats were the bulk but probably not enough to sustain it. I wish they had done like 'a night with little mix'

It was the formats but at the end of the day the label just cares about profit.

I’m sure Little Mix made loads this time around as nearly everything was bundled plus a vinyl will make more than a CD variant.

Cassettes are so cheap to produce too and they didn’t reduce them at all only for around £7 in a bundle plus the extortionate postage I’m sure they’ve been one of the highest grossing releases in week 1.

I can confirm that Sweet Melody and the Confetti remix SLAPS in a club :cheeseblock:

You got BOTH in one night you lucky sausage!! B-)

I really wish they had done another bundle that included a disc of all their acoustic versions
12 in midweeks, but with 8 new releases ahead, so could climb back in. Taylor is down to #10 for comparison.

that's actually really good, I expected worse.

#47 in France this week.
I really hope Between Us has a better effect than Think About Us did on Graham a few years ago

Between Us (album) debuted at 182 on the Billboard 200 in the US.

The way their US label is atrocious.

I think the girls themselves have probably accepted that perhaps they're never going to be big in the US. Each successive album debuts lower and lower. LM5 which was probably their last major shot was ruined by badluck.
This is random but that always annoys me is that they do is if they release new content/video and it does the rounds on forums / fan pages for hours. And then hours or even a day later they post about it. But I always have momentarily excited for new content but it's just them being slow.

I've noticed this, it is so strange and annoying!

I still think they should've put "Greatest Hits" on the cover.

I do to as some people would get drawn in by that and check out the track listing and then buy it.
