Wasn't it apparently brought forward to September 3rd? but then I heard someone else say it has been pushed back again!

 

What is the truth? :P

I feel like it would make sense for it to come in the next few weeks so it has a good 2 month run before a second single is released around the album.

 

Also I presume they would have filmed the video and any promo already before they gave birth so it was ready to go so I doubt the single choice would've changed as surely they wouldn't have any promo ready.

They were filming it before because they were filming it in Rio but covid happened, doesn't mean Holiday wouldn't be the second single, since they had the Break Up Song shoot scheduled in London shortly after returning from Brazil, which was also scrapped unfortunately.

Ahh I see, fair. I'd say they would have waited to release 'Holiday' until the summer anyway. Perhaps it was 'Sweet Melody' that was considered as the first single, I know they said 'Break Up Song' was a pretty last minute choice and it was originally supposed to be another single that lead the era.

Sweet Melody's first teaser was on the Sunday right before release. It might be too early to be teasing a single that's out next Friday.

Possibly. Unless it was always meant to be a single so they filmed it before so they’ve just swapped the order but yeah no video will hurt a lot

Tbf they could have filmed videos for both I suppose. I feel like this is gonna be a ballad so not sure how well it'll do.
They would be crazy to release a single without a video. Not with what happened to Break Up Song. Not their first brand new single as a trio with no feature. It would be wrong on all levels.

It could be a simple video of them sitting and watching a screen of clips of their 10 years together!
