Bad news.. woolies are not stocking it :(

Woolies are stocking it, but its outside the top20 of their chart, so only the larger chain stores stock it. (They also put Diddy and Cascada out of the top 20, both of which were top20 on downloads only)

My woolies is big and i couldn't see it :o

remember theres always HMV/Music Zone if you cant find them in woolworths :cheer:

i went to hmv and bought the cd set today they're great! they cd2 has a HQ picture of shakira (the single cover picture) in the enhanced section plus the LT video is in widescreen format

 

the singles were right at the top of the cd releases in hmv it looked like a few had been bought already not a big dent in the shleves but some action, piddle and cascada were selling well big dents in their stack

 

i think she is just outside of the top20, i hope we can boost her up into it

 

shakira is still not anywhere in the airplay top50 chart i checked musicweek we knew it would struggle but top20 is possible!

Not happy about how low it is going to chart ... end of shakira for the uk until the next album? probs :angry:

i think sony is not promoting anything in her favor !!!! they just are focusing now in shakira's duet with beyonce <_< and that's why the single is not having lots of promo around the world -_- its just that !!!!!

 

i think Hey you would have done better for this time of the year since the beat of the song is somehow similar to a christmas song :wub:

Everyone says that the album isn't very commercial but the song doesn't need to be commercial to do well - it just has to grab the audience. Illegal was never gonna do that - it's possibly the weakest song on the whole album. Timor, Hey You or my favourite, Animal City should've been released. Even Dreams For Plans or Your Embrace would've done better IMO.

Just renember the shakira and beyonce duet :P

Yes a shakira and beyonce duet would do well in the uk ... timor would do great in the uk and in europe... animal city may do well in the uk and costume makes the clown would have gone top 10 if it had been the 3rd single ... hey you .. i'm not sure... maybe
