Have to admit I didn't *love* this when it was a single, but my main qualm with it is that it felt like a backwards step to do another cover, following on from such a successful original song!

I certainly don't begrudge the fact it became another Top 5 for them, but I've never been able to shake the feeling that it's a bit unnecessary!

I love that I Think We're Alone Now slots in really well alongside their other singles despite being a cover, the production is top notch! It's not the most essential but it's fun.
ITWAN i love more now than back then tbh

Two covers in a row

It gave them a #1 which was always great to see, but considering some of their immensely amazing singles that missed out, I don't think it really deserves the accolade

Girls Aloud and Sugababes should have had a much more imaginative song than this...

The way it nose dived down the chart too and never went silver, oops x

This is not a fave for me

Walk This Way has SO many good memories for me, the amount of times my sister and I must have recreated the video by pretending to knock a wall down and peer through it

Walk This Way is a bit of a mess :') But two iconic girl groups together? We're not worthy!

Sexy! is everything I love about GA in one song. It's barmy, crazy, infectious, quotable, catchy... :cheeseblock: I got my dad to pick up CD2 of this for me on his way back from work on release day, I was anticipating owning it THAT much

Sexy! No No No... :cheeseblock:

I have a strong memory of being on holiday in Edinburgh, when this had its radio premiere - very early in the morning! I was so tired, and this song seemed SO weird to me in that sleepy haze  I didn't have an opportunity to hear it again until I was back at home. Another play or two and I totally got it. Such an incredibly frenetic song, so Girls Aloud! One of their very best.

The Tangled Up tour intro with them hanging on wires, before performing this - incredible.

By the way, that week at #64 was based on Friday and Saturday download sales alone! How ahead of their time to randomly release it on a Friday

For a LONG time, this was my ultimate #1 Girls Aloud song. I was enamoured with it at the time and it still stands the test of time today - a true beautiful masterpiece <3
Call The Shots What a stunner of a song

Pop perfection, what a masterclass of a song!

Nicola's "dreams that glitter" part  possibly my favourite moment of any GA song?

Absolutely stunning, to say the least  This was the single that finally prompted UK radio to properly embrace them - it reached #1 in the airplay chart.

Certainly an interesting release tactic to have the CD singles for this available one week after Tangled Up. I sometimes wonder if this might have managed #2 with a more conventional tactic (Leona - Bleeding Love would have been too strong to overcome).

The middle 8 of this song is a career highlight, what a moment between Nicola and Nadine

This era was incredible, one 10/10 single after another  Can't Speak French was one I remember being popular when I was in year 7!

The French version is iconic too, the way "funky music" is untouched x
