November 22, 20213 yr Good performance on Jonathan Ross' show just now. Parts of it (namely Nicky & Kian's solos & Mark's high notes) sounded very similar to the Strictly performance to me though. I finally saw the performance. I am quite certain Mark was live because I noticed the difference. I also think Nicky was live but I can never tell with him and Kian  Edited November 22, 20213 yr by zeze88

I also think Nicky was live but I can never tell with him and Kian  Mark definitely was, although I'm not sure his high adlibs were. After playing it and the Strictly performance side-by-side, I'm sure of that and Kian & Nicky miming their bits. Edited November 23, 20213 yr by Hassaan

November 24, 20213 yr Did anyone check how are tickets for Aviva and Wembley doing, is the sale for these gigs going well?

November 24, 20213 yr I will DM you Charis. My hopes for the album are not great, no previews or anything doesn't help. From the outside, with the cheap video and lack of music etc. it looks like the album is a side project to them making money touring! I'd rather them have quit after the last album if they are going to turn into a Boyzone type act! That 'something special' has disappeared.

Only today the yellow colour is available so i just placed my order! You are right, that something special has disappeared and they have a the main responsibility for that. They were the hard workers in the noughties but now they are acting like they are doing it as a part time job.
November 24, 20213 yr I look at other artists like taylor swift ed sheeran are pushing it when it doesnt go their way.... Westlife don't, just share a few pics for a couple of days and then hide in their ireland ranchos. Next week their only real competition is adele's second week which most likely sell somewhere around spectrum sold the first week. Just push it, do some signings, some new bundles, new colours... November 24, 20213 yr Calling them a Boyzone act is a bit harsh when by the end they only released cover albums. How can it be a side project when they literally built music studio in their homes and co-wrote majority of the songs just for this album? I think they care more for this album than anything ever before because they had the biggest input in it. Just because they aren't everywhere who says they actually can be? Maybe it is hard to book high exposure. And at the end of the day, if they want to be only a tour act, its their choice, I am sure millions would be happy even with that. I agree about the bundle thing but having signings in the time of the pandemic would be simply crazy. Edited November 24, 20213 yr by zeze88
November 24, 20213 yr Maybe I am overreacting a bit however a Westlife release has always felt special, maybe come Friday I will feel different. I hope the music delivers!
November 24, 20213 yr Westlife calendar if someone is interested. Those group shots look fun :D https://danilo.com/products/westlife-2022-a3-wall-calendar Edited November 24, 20213 yr by zeze88
November 25, 20213 yr A fan asked the boys on The One Show will they sing some old album tracks and Mark said they always consider that but he made a joke out of it how they see people going to the toilet during those so they ultimately decide to bring Mandy back. Joking aside, they really should do that once, I am tired of seeing every tour as Greatest Hits tour. November 25, 20213 yr I started listening to the album. They only haven't been involved in 3 songs. Its all Mark/Shane, only on Alive did Nicky write with 2 songwriters. I have to say its odd to think that you get 3 bops right of the bat. Lifeline melody chorus reminds me of some other song but I can't put my finger on which one. Highlights so far are Alive, Rewind, Do You Ever Think Of Me. I am actually shocked its all very mid/up tempo, its definitely a different Westlife album. Edited November 25, 20213 yr by zeze88
