We may not be getting any new Gary music this week, but it seems like we will before the end of the year! 'The Dream Of Christmas' has appeared on the tracklist of the new Now! Christmas album, so presumably it'll be out in November-ish. It'll be good to finally have a proper Gary Christmas song! (though of course there was the remix of 'Incredible' last year)

I am looking forward to Gary's debut attempt at a Christmas song.

I predict a jazz/swing take for the song.

I really dont want that style at all.

Im really in 2 minds about this, i think it will be a swing/jazz type of album that in no way excites me but i wont judge until i hear it. I was left really disappointed with music played by humans, it just didn't do much for me which was made all the more disappointing as i adored since i saw you last so for me it was a poor follow up and i have a feeling this album wont do much to turn that around. But hopefully Gary can deliver the goods.

Im hoping for something really upbeat from this and usually i would say a traditional ballad when it comes to Gary.

It's now out in Australia, along with a cover of 'Sleigh Ride'! 'The Dream Of Christmas' is a slow, violin-backed ballad - it's really quite beautiful

'Sleigh Ride' is a jazz/swing cover, which I'm sure many people here will be overjoyed with  but would you expect much else at Christmas?

It's a very nice song, lovely festive production, good vocals with lots of falsetto. Definitely has a 'John Lewis ad' feel to it. I'm glad it's not swing.
Definitely has a John Lewis ad feel to it and can def see it been used on a commercial, i am so happy its not a swing either.

The Dream of Christmas sounds beautiful.

Very promising start to open the new era.
