Moved to this thread as the discussion was delving into the whole Instagram live thing again.

Yousee, I remember it was insinuated by the said influencer she messaged a few people but even if that was not the case, one person alone is bad.

Anyway, hopefully we can move on from this whole mess.

I believe there is wrong on both sides but will continue supporting all four girls.

I don't think anyone thinks L(SL) to be a hit. It is a massive flop

One person alone in anger/frustration can't be compared to messaging people. It's interesting that a mere insinuation by that dude has been the premise of a lot of your posts. Really interesting.

You have pointed out a few times that you're a person of colour, and of course nobody should tell you how to feel. All people of colour do not have the same experiences though, so it'sunderstandable that different things will offend different people. Blackfishing generally offends/affects black women more, for obvious reasons. Another person of colour who is not black, or even a black person who is not female, might understandably not feel as offended.

Absolutely! And lots of people have outrightly and repeatedly called it a flop on Little Mix forums, and I didn't see people running around getting offended and accusing others of hating on Little Mix or not wishing them success.

I really don't think it's fair to frame Leigh Anne as someone who's doing nasty things here, simply from having a reaction to racism and cultural appropriation. That makes me quite uncomfortable.
Aww, this thread is giving me very old school Sugababes in-fightning vibes. Good times, good times

but it's really not? we KNOW that Leigh has brought up this topic with Jesy before (along with a myriad of fans) therefore she's perfectly within her right, as a black woman, to express her upset.

the only thing Leigh "did wrong" was responding to the wrong person - some loser influencer, but other than that she was within her right to vent and be frustrated/upset. Trying to paint her as someone who has done something wrong when JESY is the person who should be criticised here is plain wrong and not being able to see that is very weird?? It's willingly ignorant if you choose not to see it at this point. As a person of colour you should be empathising with Leigh-Anne as her former bandmate and friend/sister/family is literally appropriating her culture, allowing someone like Nicki to slate her to millions of followers and also allowing the media to paint her as the villain.

Little Mix/Leigh have done nothing wrong, this isn't "oh both have been bad!!" no, one side stabbed her friend in the back whilst claiming to be against bullying and the other side.. has simply done nothing. in FACT they've put their own album launch era on hold to allow it to blow over.

if you want to stan Jesy, go ahead, no one is stopping you - but when you try to skew it so Leigh is the villain? People are allowed to call that out.

the saturdays queen of no problems

They're also boring and no one is longing for them to reunite, so how did "no problems" go for them? x

The Saturdays didn't have time for drama. Baby factory.
