I went for a long walk with this album the other evening. I found it to be pretty dull.

 

29 Years is the obvious highlight. There's something very irritating about the way she writes verses now. They're basically melody-less.

25 in the U.K. is better than most other markets, only made no. 104 in the USA although their album charts have been even more ruined by streaming. Considering she had 8 top 10 albums there it’s quite a fall.

Oh I like that! It's an interesting choice of cover, could have been a disaster but I think she translates it well

This is my favourite Tori song in a long while (though I adore Speaking with trees) so just had to order the vinyl for it off a German Bravado site as it is sold out everywhere else.

 

Interesting that Florence sent vocals for it but he picked Tori instead. Though the little snippet of Florence version on his Youtube comparing to Tori sounds flat as a pancake.
