A$AP Rocky's debut mixtape has been added to streaming services to celebrate 10 years since its release and 10 years since Rocky made his mark!

 

Since the release of this mixtape, Rocky has gone on to release 3 albums, but this is where it all began.

Gave this a listen again for the first time in a while, and it's a good listen. Really set the scene for him as an artist. He obviously went on to do big things with LONG.LIVE.A$AP (which is his best album for me :wub:) but this still sounds great 10 years on. Happy it's on streaming platforms after this long.

I remember Peso being quite popular on night time Radio 1 at the time

Yeah I remember 'Peso' from late night R1 too, great song - I didn't realise that it / this project in general was never on streaming until now, but that is the case for a lot of big hip-hop mixtapes from around this time, it's good to see them slowly being made available (albeit with a bunch of samples removed).

 

(edit: actually 'Peso' itself was already available on streaming but most of the other songs weren't)
