Yes, people are forgetting that LFS is, in addition to being the final album for Tony Bennett, actually very good. Improvement from Cheek to Cheek. Being all Cole Porter makes it very cohesive.

 

And it's refreshing to see a jazz album nominated in general field which is very open this year.

The album got a good critical reception, 70 is a good score, what are you saying? :unsure: The album is great and deserved all of its nominations!

Donda and Justice have worse Metacritic score. Each three have their reason why they're nominated though. For LFS it's Tony's swan song and their unique chemistry and the quality of the album (it got the Engineering nom too). Donda is a completely wild project but sort of artistic comeback for Kanye and respects his late mother, and , well, Justice is better than Changes and Scooter Braun pushed hard for it to be nominated (and forgot Ariana's album in the process :lol: )
