1st single to be taken from their new album A Weekend In The City.

 

I quite like this. ^_^ Its a big record and is quite a bit different to all of the current indie stuff around at the moment. Its a bit of a wierd track but I think it could do quite well chart wise when it is released next year. ^_^

 

I really like this song :D Hope it gets decent success when its released.

Never liked Bloc Party... this song's done nothing to change my mind. Utter drivel -_-

It's disappointing. A really stupid Gregorian-type chant bit in the verse and a chorus which says 'Hey, Killers fans...listen to this!'

Wasn't a fan of them judging by the singles taken from 'Silent Alarm.' However, 'The Prayer,' is brilliant and just reflects on how they are now possibly experimenting with their sound more?

I like Bloc Party and I think this is a good song. Not as good as the songs off Silent Alarm though.

This is the one and only song by Bloc Party that I like though, I didn't get the big fuss when the released Silent Alarm, maybe the new album will change my mind, hmm...

Silent Alarm was immense

I bought Silent Alarm and liked it a lot, I haven't heard this yet though, and the video in the main post is no longer available. :(

yeah, it is one of those songs that grows on you, imo

It's a fairly cool track, nothing special though.

Had a couple of listens to the new album, this is one of the weakest tracks on there. It's too much 'weird' style over content, but if they release "I Still Remember", "On", "Kreuzberg" or even "Hunting for Witches" next it'll be business as usual.

I'm waiting until the album is out before I hear it but I'm looking forward to it :D I was thinking this would possibly be #1 not so long ago but now I don't think so.
