Wow, I'm the exact opposite. I haven't been on the Shawn Mendes train for a while but wow this punched me absolutely right in the guts. Haven't wanted to bawl my eyes out at a song like this in a long time.

Is this even being promoted? It feels like this song dropped and then nothing really came of it besides a plethora of off handed comments from fans about the breakup

I think he did quite well to have a career of chart relevance that lasted 5 years, it's more than most get.

I'm surprised you ll talking like he's finished. He's had 2 flops this year but none were properly pushed, both had zero playlist support, so it's normal they flopped...

I would be more worried if he had flopped with huge playlist support... think he can easily go back on track with the right song

I think the last album era is what sunk him, as well as the flops since. Although I agree it's not impossible for him to pull it back one day, stranger things have happened I guess.

The PR stunt relationship with Camila to elevate his career made it sunk as his last hit was 'Senorita'.
