This track by Lucy Spraggan is both stunning and heartbreaking. She sings about the loss of friends and mental health in this personal track. it's beautifully done and up there with her very best songs. Lucy has such a talent for songwriting, it's always a pleasure to be taken on a journey through her music.

Originally I wasn't sold on this song at all, after Blinding Lights I couldn't get into it. With the addition of Ariana Grande to this, I really clicked with it and it became one of my favourite songs even getting a week at #1 in my personal chart. Their live performance is amazing, and well worth a watch!

Last Time is a song of two halves for me. I went through a period where I loved it and slammed it a lot, hence the three week #1 run, but then I just got fed up of it really quickly and it became stale and generic. She's had worse songs, but also not among her best unfortunately.

At #15 we have the final entry of the year from KSI. This is probably my favourite KSI track and I much prefer his singing to his rapping. Even Polo G and YUNGBLUD sound great on this track. It was a great effort from KSI and something different to what we've heard from him before. It has a fantastic hook and a great melody, rightfully earning in a good run in my top ten and a week at number one.

More Little Mix at #14 with the re-released version of Confetti featuring Saweetie. There was a lot of anticipation surrounding this release as it was the first time the girls had pushed a song without Jesy. I love this version of Confetti and much prefer it to the original. Saweetie has great verse on this and the video is one of LM's best. The way they end up in drag as men is fabulous and it also features iconic Drag Race royalty in Tayce, A'Whora and Bimini Bon Boulash. A true bop.

Olivia Rodrigo took the world by storm last year, popping out with this huge number one, drivers license. Lyrically and sonically this song is stunning and really was a step above what anybody was expecting. I remember it being very overplayed at the time and I didn't give it the credit it deserved. It is a beautiful song and deserving of its #13 position on my EOY chart.

Another entry for Lucy Spraggan at #12 with Animal. I was so impressed with this track, as I have been throughout this whole era. She sings about fighting and being positive in life and sets a great motive. A brilliant video and great lyrics once again from Lucy. :)

Quite how this track has ended up as my 11th most played song of 2021 is beyond me, as I think it's trash :lol:. I mean, clearly I didn't think it was trash at one point as it managed top 5 in my personal chart. I think Anne-Marie sounds quite nice on this one, but I think it's one of KSI's weakest singles tbh. A forgettable track which I doubt I'll listen to again.

Kicking off my top ten songs of 2021, at #10 it's Justin Bieber's New-Year's Day release, Anyone. This is arguably one of Justin's very best songs, I absolutely love it and it's got a great video. He looks better without the tattoos also. :)

Dua Lipa has been everywhere for the past few years and I feel like We're Good suffered from a bit of overexposure. Levitating really did overshadow it. It finishes as my 9th most played song of 2021. I love this to be honest, it's something a bit different and mid-tempo from Dua and the use of the Titanic Lobster love story theme in the video is genius!

Heartbreak Anthem is one of the songs of 2021, absolutely fantastic. Easily Little Mix's best ever collab. I always enjoy Galantis too. It's just honestly such a feel good song and really makes you want to vibe. The music video is beautiful and considering two of the girls were heavily pregnant, they did a great job. A great song to make you get over your ex.

At #7 is an total banger from one of my favourite artists. It's Ava Max with My Head & My Heart! Using the sample from All Around The World, Ava has made a dance-pop masterpiece here and gained her another top 20 single in the UK. I'm so glad it finally managed to become a hit for her after peaking a few months after original release! Ava has never disappointed me with her single choices and I'm just so excited to see what's next!

It still sounds great today.

Well here it is! It had to appear somewhere didn't it :lol:! UK Hun? finishes at #3 in my EOY chart 2021. I am not ashamed to say I have a massive guilty pleasure for this song, in fact anything Drag Race - I love :D. This really did just take off, it gets stuck in your head and for me I found it on repeat for weeks. It's the highest charting Drag Race song in the UK to date and it's camp heaven. It will go down as an iconic moment in Drag Race herstory.

I'll admit, even I'm surprised this isn't number one, but here we are. Little Mix with Sweet Melody are my #2 of 2021. As you can see, Sweet Melody was my third most played song of 2020 (despite being released in October!), and in 2021 has gone one better reaching number two. Can it go one further this year? Who knows, as you can see it's still charting for me and I have no doubt it will be the first song to hit a year on my personal chart. What a fantastic effort from Little Mix. I was delighted when it got to number one last year as it truly deserved it, the best single Little Mix have ever released. Period.
