Let’s go with Track 1: Words of Wisdom!

Showing a different side to Steps as the 5678 b-side. I’ve not heard most of these before but it’s good that there is more of a spread of vocals on here. It’s not very Steps though…

There is a more spread of vocals but i agree its not very steps although they have far far worse than it.

Totally agree! It’s very “Step One” isn’t it?

This one is nice enough. I enjoy the spread of the vocals too. I think they didn’t want to be seen as the ‘linedance act’ only so I understand why they added this one to ‘5,6,7,8’.

Not bad so a 7/10 for this one!

Not even very step one as overall i like almost everything from that album but it easily could have been a left over track from step one
I wonder is there any songs from here they will revisit at a future point like even a tour medley on a greatest hits type tour.

Track 2: A Love To Last

Okay I wasn’t expecting this to be a H led song - not sure why. Again, a very Step One track and probably needed more of a male lead after Last Thing On My Mind was totally female dominated. Again, I don’t think it’s amazing but it’s not horrific either!

I’d swap WOW with Track 7 for sure!

A love to last i do like but it always reminds me of another song but i can never put my finger on which other song it is.

The perfect example of a B-side. Nice, but not amazing. I enjoy H’s vocals in this one. He doesn’t overdo it in this one. The girls vocals are a bit ‘iffy’ at the end (especially Lisa)!

Overal a 6.5/10!
