This was comfortably the best race of the season so far in either Indy or F1, and the onboards show just how much trickier it is to handle and Indycar over F1, especially in the wet.

Scott Dixon's final run last night at Indianapolis, broke the record for the fastest ever pole winning speed at an average of 234.046 mph.

 

It was quite something to watch indeed. Only Arie Luyendijk's 236 mph run in 1996 has been faster
