really bizarre how the Chainsmokers guy tries to imitate The kid laroi, beyond weird

The leaked demo had verse 2 sang by Drew and the rest by Laroi, which figures when verse 2 is the only part where Drew doesn't sound like he's trying to imitate Laroi's vocals. It leaves me a bit cold hearing how blatantly he's copied Laroi's vocal style. Shame cause there's a good song in there.

I was a bit worried when I heard the snippets, but really enjoying the full track. Agree it sounds a lot like Laroi, who knows why he didn't appear on the track - I'm guessing him and his team wanted a bigger cut of royalties? I also prefer The Chainsmokers when they don't have huge features to be honest, much prefer the unknown singers or Drew's vocals (which have come on a lot).

Really liking this, hopefully it’ll be big for them!

 

I quite like the beat change at the end too, though it does sound a little out of place and doesn’t go anywhere.
