February 12, 20223 yr From what I've seen, I think this is this is a kind of throwback to 60s Soviet era pop music that feels charmingly retro in Lithuania but that's a bit lost on us in the west.
February 12, 20223 yr Author Didn't really catch me as much as some other fans do. Nevertheless this is one of the weakest selection from Lithuania so I don't have any favourites anyway. My favourite The Devil lives in Spain got knocked out too early. :(
February 13, 20223 yr I think they had a couple of songs in their NF that could’ve got into the final in Turin. This isn’t one of them.
February 13, 20223 yr Fantastic choice Lithuania. As I said, best Lithuanian entry in years and probably ever from a strong selection. Don't think I agree that this'll struggle yet either, we've seen that native language and retro-sounding pop can really work well together.
February 13, 20223 yr Struggling to see this make it to Saturday. UK and Ireland not in the semi to help out either.
February 13, 20223 yr WELL THEN I think it's very wise on the part of Lithuania, that, absent of their more likely western support, they chose a song that appeals more to their home base then!!
March 31, 20223 yr Only just heard Washing Machine. It’s like The Saturdays if they’d been told to be more like Supersister - tacky but super catchy.
May 12, 20223 yr not only is she doing fantastic on stage and show with her bop, she's also one of the most charismatic entrants this year, I've been loving seeing her in the green room behind the hosts: https://www.reddit.com/r/eurovision/comment...f_mikas_script/ cmon vilnius 2023 with her as host
