Posted January 8, 20223 yr Ant & Dec launch their first new format since 'Red or Black?' (over 10 years ago now!) tonight at 20:30, featuring apparently the world's first infinite jackpot in a gameshow. It certainly will be interesting to see how much people win on this! @1467629859702808585
January 8, 20223 yr It's an odd sort of show. I'd f*** off the lifelines, they make the game far too easy. Think the idea of it being limitless is a gimmick tbh, can't see people winning more than a few hundred thousand.
January 8, 20223 yr It’s a fun interactive format, that’s quite tense too. There’s a LOT of quiz shows on at the moment so it’s good to have one that has more interactivity with the answers rather than another standard Q&A with a pointless gimmick. The only issue it falls foul of not having easy to explain rules which is likely going to harm it but it is simple once you understand how it works! It’s good to see Ant & Dec finally present another show that isn’t Takeaway/BGT/I’m a Celeb.
January 8, 20223 yr People saying this is too complicated really make me wonder just how thick the average person actually is. You dial in the number, if it's right you bank the money, if it's under you lose however many your under, if it's over you're out. It's hardly Only Connect
January 9, 20223 yr I actually quite enjoyed this tonight, decent format. The questions seemed to be of random difficulty rather than starting easy and getting harder as you go along which I find quite surprising. I agree that the limitless thing is probably just a gimmick, you'd have to answer a lot of correct questions in the opening round or keep getting answers dead on to have enough lives to keep climbing past a million say and by that point I think most people would cash out rather than keep gambling anyway. Not that that isn't still a huge amount of money of course.
January 15, 20223 yr Anyone given this another go? Where the f***s this guy buying a house? Splitting it between the 3 kids, but wants 100,000? So that gives him 33,000 to buy his house with? Edited January 15, 20223 yr by Chartfridays
January 15, 20223 yr At least the contestants this week look slightly more bothered about the amounts of money their risking than last weeks.
January 15, 20223 yr First losers then. It is possible to lose this game, but you have be utterly stupid to manage it. Also it seems to be getting more watchable this week than last week, and seeing the result of failure makes it more real. Edited January 15, 20223 yr by Chartfridays
