After going into somewhat of a hiatus following Jonas Brothers’ return in 2019, it appears that DNCE are back! They commented on Joe Jonas’ latest TikTok, which features a new song of theirs playing in the background.

I always thought they were really good not only in ‘Cake By the Ocean’, this was one of my faves of theirs:

I actually think their debut album was a really solid listen so I'm looking forward to hearing what they come back with.

I hated 'Cake By The Ocean' at the time, but I rather quite enjoy it now. 'Body Moves' was so their best though.

I didn't expect them to ever make a return.

i honestly am more invested in DNCE than the JB at this point... both had a similar trajectory where they had a big hit and then nothing else has really stuck

'Kissing Strangers' for me, one of Nicki Minaj's better collabs.

Toothbrush was always my fav. Very solid singles!

Here's what Joe's said about their new stuff (looking forward to Tame Impala vibes!). He also confirmed in his new Rolling Stone interview that the Jonas Brothers will not be splitting up again.

On TikTok, Jonas has started teasing the new music, which many fans correctly attributed to DNCE already. “Dancing Feet” will be the first single of their relaunch, with the video being filmed this week. It’s a collaboration with EDM superproducer Kygo, known for his tropipop originals and remixes. The song is a perfect reintroduction, a crisp, Eighties-inspired bop primed for all your dance-floor needs. Kygo and Jonas have developed a friendship over the past few months, and when the DJ and producer played the song for the singer, it fit in perfectly with the material already written for the band’s return.

“It’s really happy. It’s that feeling of not really giving a f*** and enjoying life to the fullest,” he says of the single. “I think what DNCE always did so well was bring joy to people, which is what I wanted to do with this new batch of music. Obviously it’s still very tricky times, but it reminds us all of being able to go out there and dance and enjoy life.”

While DNCE’s funkiness will still be prevalent, Jonas adds that there’s a huge psychedelic influence on the upcoming songs, inspired some of his favorite artists Empire of the Sun and Tame Impala.

Seems like it's scheduled to be released on Feb, 25.
