you know after she says "beyonce beyonce" its like she is about to say "shakira shakira" instead" cshasha cshasha" whatever she says :wacko:

 

she definately has shakira in mind for this track with the "aye aye" at the beginning, the song is a grower but it needs something extra and shakira will give it the missing injection it needs! well i hope so, shakira has two potential huge songs coming next year "beautiful liar" and "L-O-V-E" with wyclef, in fact 3 with alejandro 2nd single for the latin market, she may get two more entries next year in mediatraffic's top10 all time singles chart, she will then be the undisputed most successful female artist this decade, century and millenium :lol: ^_^

Beyoncé said she wrote this with Shakira in mind and that it's perfect for her, but at the moment, it just sounds like a cheap rip off of different Shakira songs. First the "Ay Ay Ay", then the "Beyonce Beyonce", then the trumpet solo and just the genereal way she tries to fuse Arabic and Latin sounds. It's not too bad of a song, it just needs Shakira to show Beyoncé how it's actually done.

I want to hear shakira on it now.. do you think that it is recorded yet?

I don't think they have. All that either of them have said so far is:

 

Beyoncé "I love Shakira. I want to work with her. I've written a song for her."

Shakira "Beyoncé is great. I will work with her. Haven't had time because of tour."

 

That's all I've seen anyway. One source said they had already recorded a few songs together but I highly doubt that.

Well i hope it is done soon or a next shakira single is rushed out.. i think that if we don't get another shakira single in feb it is quite pointless after illegal flopped so much ..so either wait for the beyonce duet and then the 4th single or next single out quick :P or tour time

after new year i think beyonce and shakira will head to the studio to record it, i wish shakira had more time maybe she could work on the track but i think the production will stay the same as the beyonce version, she'll leave it to beyonce's vision for the song

If they have recorded the video I will be surprised. If they have actually recorded the song I will be surprised. I reckon there will be another B'Day single before Beautiful Liar. It's doing great in America so I don't think there's need for a Re Release yet when they could milk some more sales with another single.

Im wondering if it may come out around the same time as L-O-V-E.

 

tbh I dont know why Beyonce even wants to re-release the album, its already gone double platinum in America

They re release them just to make more money. Mariah did it with Don't Forget About Us. At least Shakira re released because it had flopped, not out of greed like these other ones.

 

I am seriously doubtful that Shakira will do this duet. There's a lot of talk etc etc but I honestly don't think Shakira wants to do it.

aha this is what i thought could happen a clash of schedules, beyonce is really enthusiastic working with shakira cause she is acting like a fan, shakira has many artists that want to work with her but she turns them down but beyonce made the effort to go to a concert so shakira agreed

 

maybe its been scraped now cause bad timing and cause b'days sales are healthy, irreplaceable still has strong legs like shakira's mother, they don't need shakira's selling power but what about the crossover beyonce wants to the latin market, it would help her greatly if she has shakira by her side, won't b'day rerelease feature other spanish tracks too?

 

are they releasing beyonce solo tracks from "dreamgirls" too? maybe too much is going on for beyonce and she had to let this collabo go

I'm not sure...not sure at all.

 

My view of this is that if this ever happens, it will be recorded after Shakira finishes the tour. Shakira and Beyonce have both said the reason they havent done it is because Shakira is busy with her tour.

 

So it would probably be happening around the end of March which would be enough time for Beyonce to have had another single out there and by the time it has been produced and what not then a video filmed, it will probably be end of April/May time which would be about the right time for a re release of B Day.

 

That's my take on things anyway...

could be, the timing seems late for the re-release unless it will feature many new tracks be a 2 cd set so it feels like a different album but it may come too late for beyonce if the 4th single under performs she'll have a big gap in february and march and may lose momentum with this album and hype

Well, maybe the album won't be re-released? Maybe it will just be a single.. which would be better as it would sell more.... I want to hear the version with shakira's vocals on because i really love the song :lol: ... i think pure intention and another beyonce song will be released and then after her tour is done they will work on the track/video and then release it... i wanna hear it now tho :kink: :lol: annnd if shakira has said she is going to do a duet with someone i don't think she will cancel it. Imagine the dancing going on in the video :o It's going to be great .... mmm does shakira have a gap in schedule to film a vid for pure intuition?
