Apparently this debuts on TRL next Wednesday.

 

Also, someone said the promo goes to radio on 5th March, but that might not be for all stations because it's more normal for radios to play the song before the video gets played.

yea ... well im in dubai and a major radio station keeps putting the song and saying that its shakira and beyonce .. also my friend told me in other radio stations in europe they are putting it too !! the promo is out but only with beyonce... i guess their keeping shakira for the video! i hope its soon

Someone said, the reason it was getting plays was because Sports Illustrated put the Beyoncé version on a compilation CD that was sent to radios. The radios have been playing BL but because it has never had an official release in any form (not part of an album, no download, not even from a promo CD) it is being classed as the Shakira version which is listed as an upcoming release.

It's been officially confirmed, Beyoncé will debut the video on Wednesday on TRL.

 

Also, the song gets sent to radios officially on March 5th.

 

A lot of stations have been mixing the Beyoncé only version up with the duet version...idiots.

 

One radio station really does have it though and this was what one listener said:

 

WOW... its definately not the typical feature, infact they should correct the Mediabase to what it exactly says on this thread, I'd say this is sung 55% by Shakira and 45% by Beyonce just cuz Shakira has the added chorus. A typical featured artist goes something like this:

 

Main singer: verse 1

Chorus (main)

featured artist: verse 2

Chorus / Main singer: verse 3

featured artist: a few words

Main singer / chorus exit

 

Something like that, well in this they SHARE alot of verses, it goes back forth back forth back forth between em, its DEFINATELY Beyonce & Shakira, not Beyonce /f Shakira, I love that! Shakira sounds beyond hot and Beyonce brings it with everyword. ALOT of verses are shared, infact the awkward part and probably the only part I don't like is that they share the typical high note/point of the song in the 2/3rd. Beyonce shoulda just done that part solo, it woulda sounded alot better. Shakira does the lower vocals alot better too.

 

ITS HAWT YOU GUYS!!! Shakira fans will love the beat! Beyonce fans will love the mixed vocals she brings. I loved the moans Shakira does, SO SEXAH. Beyonce also does some subtle crazy noises in the song too which are very hot. Lyrically its not an amazing song but god these two KILL IT

Thanks ashley :P ;) I don't like it that much, I think the beyonce one was better,I think shakira sounds great and I love her part but this song is not what I thought was going to be.
On first listen im not keen -_- might grow yet
