Now I know I'm the only person on this forum who actually likes them :blush: (if not the world) but I just got this song which is what was supposed to be there new single but it got pulled. It's definitely the best song they have ever released as much as it has the most stupid lyrics ever as usual. :lol:

tbh I quite liked James when he was in Busted and I thought he was a good songwriter but his attitude seems to have changed since he formed Son of Dork.

Well what I meant was that the lyrics are always very weird but the song is good ;) and yeah James thought that he could walk straight back into what he was at Busted with SOD so he was quite nasty to fans, plus the whole Busted part II thing wasn't a great idea let alone the band name :lol: and so it's all not gone so well.

OK. Now I understand.

 

Maybe the boys pulled it because they've written one they like better.

I think they've been secretly dropped by the record company myself :( the way the article said everything that's the conclusion I came to and it comes to no suprise -_- However James is going to try and get 'Boyband' released anyway ;) I have NO idea why that wasn't released instead of the first two :mellow:

I think they have :( I can't find that article that hints it though for some reason. :unsure: If they're not then I would like to ask why James has buggered off to America when his band is in crisis :rolleyes:

I'd actually be quite interested to hear this, I hated 'Ticket To Loserville' with a passion but 'Eddie's Song' was actually half decent. :o And some tracks from the album a friend played me (who's also a fan) sounded alright too...

I've just heard it and it's not bad, quite catchy.

 

I think it could do quite well if they release it with decent promo.

I don't think they've been dropped just yet however I reckon that they'll re release their album and one more single and if the album fails to go top 20 and the single fails to get top 8 then they will be dropped and be nomore. I honestly can't see them lasting. I also think that Fightstar are quite likely to be dropped. I'm not sure how Matt will do although I'm not entirely convinced he'll last long. I reckon he will have a huge top top 5 hit followed by a single which just scrapes into the top 10 followed by a top 30 album which slips out the chart very quickly. I think he will then release a third single hoping to lift album sales, although this single only gets top 25. He will then probably be dropped.

I also think that Fightstar are quite likely to be dropped.

Are you bloody joking? :blink: :rofl: The post-hardcore band with the top 30 album doing so crap aren't they? :lol: 1. That type of music isn't expected to sell as it's not exactly commercial (Funeral For A Friend are the only other act that have sold as much as them) 2. They can't drop themselves! (they're on Sandwich Leg which is their own label and is also part of Universal Island Records)

 

Yes I can see Waste A Moment and Grand Unification Pt I being #1s :mellow: Charlie left Busted to do the music he wanted not to get #1s etc.

 

Matt's stuff sounds great to me and he had the most personality out of the lot of them so if any of them are going to be successful it's him. ;)
