Their debut wasn’t a favorite for a long time. Didn’t hate it but a 6.5/10-ish. For some reason it grew on me and it did get things started.

Living in a lie had to chart and I’m happy to see the love for it ❤️ Especially the strings make it typical Steps for me.

Moving on to the part of the chart were there are a lot of their covers. And also not a lot of movement besides Neon Blue that drops out of my top 10. Why? Because I overplayed this one..I am sure it will climb next year though as I do have a soft spot for this song.

Totally agree.

Not happy with the big drop for neon blue this time around.

I do play neon blue a fair bit but never tire of it, they have a few songs that fall into that category for me and then there are others i just enjoy more sporadically and of course a few i just dont really revisit.

Some (WTFH) songs made it back with a big bang! Especially Victorious which is back at #13. Such a campy Steps song and I really enjoy Claire her vocals. And Just like missing out on a top 10 placing (again).

I think so? It has an interesting run btw, going 2-6-8-12 this far. I got a little bored with it but it also has a chance to climb back to my top 5 next year(s).

Some (big) changes in this section. First we have Better back inside the top 10. I didn’t play it a lot for some time and now I’m back loving it. Especially Faye her part! Paradise climbs to a new peak of #9. What can I say..it’s really the single that got away. Such a shame!

Very happy to see big climbs for the brilliant better best forgotten and paradise lost as I'm a huge fan of both. What the future holds is another big fave of mine so its good to see it move further up the top 10.

Thought you’d be pleased with this section. Better really grew on me again. I really like the ‘old school Steps vibe’ of the song.

Apart from genuinely loving the song i don't what it is about better best forgotten but it just incapsulates everything steps were back then for me and when i play it it brings me right back to their heyday more so than Tragedy.

I do enjoy it more then Tragedy as well. And I understand, it’s very camp and ABBA-esque! Only the video is a bit meh though Faye looks great.

After 3 years of (big) climbs, going 23-13-2-, it’s the first time Last thing goes down. Though a top 5 placing is still a good place to be if you ask me. One for sorrow is a typical Steps classic grabbing the bronze in my ‘25 edition (it’s also a new peak for the song as well. Nothing but sweet memories ❤️

I really like last thing on my mind and deeper shade of blue and both are songs i still listen to a fair bit, one for sorrow i dont listen to as much but i do like it but equally dont rate it as high as others do.
