I don’t see how this isn’t going #1…pretty catchy!!!

Nothing remarkable but sounds like a hit in the vein of some Doja Cat's singles.

that MV is iconic *.* I was prepared to love it when that clitoris plant appeared, whoever said Hansel & Gretel but make it Thot Shit is a freaking genius, this is some early 2010's level quality right here

 

the song is super catchy too, "ooh Mr. Ride Of Your Life" is a true killing part!

I’m loving Dua’s parts, that chorus is gonna be in my head all day! On the other hand Megan’s sections are a bit more forgettable unfortunately. I think it’ll be a cute hit for them both but nothing massive.

This is quite good, I can see this being a big hit.

As said already, Dua's parts are super catchy. I think this will be a big hit.

The song is a cute bop! Not usually my thing, but Dua's hook and bridge are catchy and her casual delivery works well with the summery production.

 

Not gonna lie, but I feel like the video had too much going on and the CGI effects were a hit overbearing at times. They served looks though as expected *.*

 

Overall, it's good and not amazing on first few listens, but I can already tell it's one of those earworm type songs that subtly creeps up you and lodges itself in your brain for months on end

YouTube first day views 2.4 million. The likes of We're Good and Love Again had 3 million and 5.6 million respectively by comparison. So a relatively low key start.

 

I'm not expecting huge numbers on Spotify today especially in the UK as it got added at US midnight time only.

Off to a very slow start in the UK...I expected more. But smashing out the gate in the US at least!

 

I love the song and the video is incredible. I can see this song growing over time and sticking around for quite a while, but we'll see.

I said this from the start Megan is not a huge name in the UK and the song was only added US midnight time to Spotify. Not sure why people expected it to perform so well first day. It's done about as well as I expected.

It's really disappointing considering both are capable of so much better, it's like a reductive Doja album track.

 

Video's nice though.
