Fame Academy wanted pop / dance / soul type/ alternative singer and songwriter type artists, it was the complete wrong vehicle for Ben, it would have been like Leona entering Rock Star INXS or Rock Star Supernova or whatever the follow up was

 

To be fair to you, Ben is not a singer/songwriter, so that would have gone against him when auditioning for Fame Academy.

Alex Parks did not win Fame Academy :unsure: I thought David Snedden won that one :unsure:

Well I'm glad Leona won cause althought her voice is like nails on a blackboard it would've been a joke if Ray had've won. -_-

 

Also about Ben. Who cares about him not making it on other shows? People like Chico and MacDonnalds get into the top 10 so you can hardly judge talent based on how far someone made it on a reality show :rolleyes: . He was an actual musician who writes his own songs and has a terrific voice and was extremly vercitile. Leona just stands still during every single performance and sings ballads. It's like she is glued to the floor :lol: She has technically a great voice but overall certainly does'nt have the X factor by any stretch of the imagination. -_-

 

Btw, the winners song is one of the worst songs I've ever heard. It's going to be one of the wortst Xmas #1's ever. Truely horrible :puke2:

to tell you the truth I've only just started to like Take Thats song after that performance :P

Take That were paid £400,000 for their appearance on last night's X Factor finale.

 

The boyband performed their hit single Patience live on the show and sang a duet with winner Leona Lewis, who had been a fan of the boys when she was a teenager.

 

An insider told The People: "Getting Take That on the show was the ultimate finale. Show bosses wanted them there at all costs. Their fan base incorporates people of all ages. The producers wanted to show that X Factor is more than just a talent contest. With big name acts like this, it shows why it's still so popular."

Having not seen the show last night i watched it today. If i was watching for the first time, i would wounder how bad everyone else was if Ray made the final. His prefromance with Westlife was dire really. He should really just join them as he fitted right in and was really out sung by westlife. His preformance of My Way once again I thought was c**p, I dunno why so many people thing it was special. His prefromance of A Moment Like This wasn't very good either. He was outsung in the chours by the backing vocals and when he was singing on his own just sounded off key. Even though I wanted Ben to win I am glad Leona beat Ray as she was genearly very good last night.

Leona was marvelous last night, Ray on the other hand was nothing special, he should stick with acting. :P
