December 20, 200618 yr Got back from Melbourne after an amazing weekend. Sunday night's show was fantastic, and even though I was way up the top of the stadium the sound was perfect and the view amazing...it was great having the roof closed :D . The crowd around me were were quite lifeless...not that they weren't enjoying it..just not many got up and danced which spoiled it a bit for me...but I guess thats what happens way up in the rafters. The gold standing area looked to be rocking though :D Got front row on Monday after lining up from 7 am and it was beyond words. He was on perfect form yet again and I even got a wink from him which gave me shivers down my spine. The crowd were totally with him and I could even see them having a blast in the stands. We broke the attendance record for telstradome that night and the noise was unbelievable during the whole concert. No sign of kylie but I wasn't expecting her and I really couldn't be arsed whether she was there or not. There was nothing different for the last show...except he didn't come down in the gondola thingy for some unknown reason. I was not as emotional as I was expecting but I think thats because he really left us with a positive message that he was not retiring and that he would definately be back...he gave us something exciting to look forward to unlike in 2003 when I thought I was farewelling him forever. Now that I am home, back at work, and I am feeling a bit flat and I am not quite ready to let go of it all yet. I reluctantly took off my armband this morning as I trudged into work, but I don't think I will take off my little $10 pendant...ever...what a little gem that is...I love it and was a real bargain. I kind of feel like I am carrying him with me everywhere now. I have had an amazing couple of weekends with our boy and there is just no-one like him. He means the world to me and he brings so much joy into my life. I have also met some amazing people which made my experience even more enjoyable. I can't wait to see what he has in store for us next :D Edited December 20, 200618 yr by suse
