March 6, 20223 yr Ooh I was considering making a thread for this album as well - also loving both of the singles so far, the production on both of them *.* (also Kevin Abstract's smooth entrance on 'More Pressure' is a moment, I was a little unsure how much chemistry they'd have as it seemed like a slightly odd collaboration but it works really well).
May 10, 20223 yr I didn't love the rest of this album as much as I hoped given the very high standard of (3/4 of) the singles (I liked 'No Prizes' as well, but the other 3 would all be fairly high up my favourite songs of the year to date) - I wish they had stuck with the synth instrumentation for the entire album because I think it's the combination of that with their delivery that made the singles so compelling, the songs that strayed from that formula didn't connect with me nearly as much. Still had a few solid highlights from the album tracks though, 'Priority Boredom' was my fave of them I think (so that was a promising start to the album before it started to falter a bit in the mid point) and also enjoying 'Move' (although that could have done with an extra minute or so) and 'Water In The Rain'. Still thrilled that this gave them a first top 10 (and first top 20) album though <3
December 5, 20222 yr Author Released a few weeks ago, a new version of Move is the current single. Bre getting that extra minute of the song! tS90wiIjG-Y
