December 18, 200618 yr it has nothing do with her singing bad..... the reason why HDL sounds bad over TV is cos' when the sound is filtered (filtered to the same level that way you wont have to put your volume up and down al the time) and it looks like the bassline overpowers her voice...making her sound low or like she cant sing on TV.... but the people that are there hear it perfect.... same thing happen to her in the Latin Grammy while singing La tortura :unsure: ........... just wait for the DVD and see how amazing she sounds

However, i have seen the VMA performance. It's pretty bad, let's be honest. I love her performances of La Tortura though :wub:

La Tortura sounds great live but she has never once sung the chorus live. She always used to lip synch the first two lines of the song, the chorus, and the ad libs at the end. Now she sings it all live except for the chorus. You can see it on the Rock In Rio performance if you don't believe me because the playback isn't working properly. And I know you were there at the VMA's and I would've loved it no matter what she sounded like but I honestly think it is one of her worst performances vocally. When she was doing promo for HDL in America she didn't sound too bad, but at the VMA's the strains of touring were definately showing on her voice. And I am a fan, but it doesn't mean I have to see everything that Shakira does through rose tinted glasses.
