April 14, 20223 yr 'Working On A Miracle' was probably my favorite so far, stunning  I voted for that (West Virginia), Shameless (Massachusetts), Plenty Love (Pennsylvania), DIY (Georgia) and De La Finikera (Arizona). I won't complain about the jury selection for a change, really liked it even if it was predictable again. But I was already an Allen Stone fan so I'm kind of biased! The other frontrunner (Shameless) was terrific too so I wouldn't have minded that going through either.

April 21, 20223 yr Great top 2 by the jury this week! Disappointing to see California lose the qualification at the last moment, but I'm hopeful they can still advance. I voted for California, American Samoa, New Mexico and North Carolina.
April 28, 20223 yr I only voted for Michigan and Massachusetts ('Natalie' and 'Shameless') this week, would've voted for Washington too if it hadn't won the jury again. More of my faves must have ended up in the next semifinal.
May 5, 20223 yr The 10 finalists are all revealed now! Only one of my semi 2 faves made it through (YES Chloe!!), the other three (California, Kansas, North Carolina) were all 2nd-4th from the jury so I was actually more confident about those, so I'm disappointed about that. California was especially robbed! Actually I didn't realize the jury only picked 1 finalist per semi and the rest were entirely decided by public vote.
May 10, 20223 yr ahahahahah i see the juries tried to f*ck over OK/TX/CO but they couldn't do it F*CK THE JURIES THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN Om4ZsMpkdSU
May 10, 20223 yr lmao AleXa has more plays on Spotify than most of the other entries combined, despite it being her least streamed title track  Imagine if she wins by televote power alonefun fact: AleXa's televote tally was so large that she would have won with 0 jury points. WHO CALLED THAT SHIT (from Twitter)
May 10, 20223 yr Wow at how out of touch the juries on this were. The audience wanted fun and pop, they wanted credible ballads. Weird that after having so much of a say through the semi-finals the juries had like 20%? influence on the final result. Great for Alexa, it was a clearly genuinely popular track and a polished superstar style performance. There were songs I liked more but she had the whole package and it is a good first (hopefully not only) winner for the contest. Kudos to Michael Bolton for being the only big star to make it to the final too! Surprised Seventeen was last, I liked it more than quite a few of the others. Sparrow was super cliched and bland and I’d not have had it anywhere near the top three.
May 11, 20223 yr Yeah it's crazy how the jury vote and public vote seemed like polar opposites. Even though I preferred the jury winner (Allen Stone), I'm glad the public vote had more weight, I'm sure our audience doesn't quite get the whole jury format and even if it had been more balanced I'm not sure it would've gone over well. Still, Seventeen being last was indeed a shock and seemed a bit harsh! The country vote seemed pretty strong in the first round with several qualifying for the semis, and then it just vanished. I'm not holding out much hope for another season based on the ratings, pretty sure NBC will immediately want The Voice back in that timeslot, but I sure would love to be proved wrong!
