THE VIEW - SAME JEANS

Release date: 15-1-2007

Dundonian 4 piece, The View, release their third single 'Same Jeans', once again produced by Owen Morris (producer of the Verve's seminal 'Northern Soul' and Oasis' debut 'Definitely Maybe'), and is taken from their debut album 'Hats Off To The Buskers', which is due for release in late January.

Amazing follow-up to "Wasted Little DJs" and "Superstar Tradesman" :cheer: Love it at the moment :yahoo:

I think it will do. Both their last songs got Top 15 and seen as this is the single thats leading up to the album I reckon it'll go Top 10. :cheer:

Fingers crossed! The quiet January market may help as well.

I might possibly sneak into the top five but it should be top ten :D the album could be a #1 album too!

That would be great news having some actual talent at the top instead of boyband drivel

This song needs to get in the top 10, it would be a great way to kick off the chart for 2007 :yahoo:

And if the album went top?!? Wow! :o

I've not been the biggest fan of The View from their 1st 2 singles but i'd love their album to go to at least top 5/10. Same Jeans is too good to miss the top 10, hopefully Radio 1 keep playing it, hopefully that'll get more people out buying the single or downloading it. I've not felt this strong about a song for ages

Me neither! :o

Well... since 'Whistle For The Choir', anyway :kink:

I liked 'Superstar Tradesman' and 'Wasted Little DJs', so I think that their album will be my first CD purchase of 2007 B)

I'll be buying it too, it must be out in a few weeks :yahoo:

It is ^_^

It's out a week after 'Same Jeans' is released.. so that'll be the 22nd or thereabouts.. can't wait, actually! :o :cheer:

I can't wait for it :D there's quite a lot of new stuff to look forward to in the next couple of months in my opinion :yahoo:

This song is now BEYOND $h!t. Truely one of the worst indie singles of early '07.

I STILL feel [and most probably have] heard it all before somewhere. Its generic and BLEH. What makes it worse is that its OBV gonna do well :(

I really feel this is rubbish -_-

i feel that you 2 are mental!

ahh.. my favourite lads

surely top 10, they deserved at least that for the 2 other tunes too

ps.. i should be in that vid some place

Oh hello! :D Glad to see you pop up around here ^_^ (It's Nicky btw ;) )

Just out of curiosity, is the version on the video the album version or the single version? It's just that I got Same Jeans sent off someone, and it sounds different (no harmonica in the bit before the chorus and the lead singer's voice doesn't have any echo)
