I love how for many this is a song about a lover... but the true meaning of it and her father's surgery adds so much gravitas to it. Many wouldn't know that's the true meaning behind it!

Put Beatles and Elton in a blender and you have it.

Dance in the Dark

This is a lovely song to listen to every now and then. The lyrics are brilliant but otherwise the song feels a bit of pastiche Joanne style sometimes.
