NMTOTD really stuck in my head when I first listened to the album, I like it less now but still like it.

20. Hold My Heart

 

 

Starting off my top 20 is my 4th album track to make the cut, the lovely ballad Hold My Heart from WTFH pt 1. Like i’ve said previously I am a sucker for a ballad and it was nice to get a new ballad from them as TOTD didn’t really have any ballads as such. I think this is a great and probably underrated song. would have loved them to perform this live!

19. Under My Skin

 

 

Up next my 5th of 8 albums tracks, and a song in a very similar vain to my number 20. Both from the same album and another ballad ish although a bit more mid paced than the previous song. I absolutely adore this song and think it would have made a great single to show a different side to them and done great for the Radio 2 listeners, I know most of the band love this and it’s a few of the members fave from this album if I remember correctly. Was quite shocked they didn’t do it on tour because of that but glad to see if managed to get 1 live performance as above !

18. Heartbreak In This City - Single Mix

 

 

Up at 18 is one of the bands most recent singles and one of their very few collabs. I loved the normal version of this but I think this is even better, I think Michelle Visage really does add a great element to the song and I do absolutely love the video even if poor Lisa couldn’t get over to the UK to join in the filming and a lot of the performances, This is definitely becoming a Steps classic for me!

When I said goodbye would be another song that would me more skip for me.

haha people really don’t like Steps ballads huh ?

Overall I'm not, I kinda only listen to their slow songs by accident.

I also really like Under My Skin, two great choices there. (Hold My Heart).

 

Heartbreak In This City is good but I prefer the album version myself.

 

When I Said Goodbye is ok but wouldn't be in my Top 5 ballads.

Heartbreak in this city is catchy but I've moved on from it lately but I might get back into it again at a later date.
