My #7 is the what seems to be marmite on this forum - After The Love Has Gone. I personally adore this song. although it’s not technically a ballad it does still feel like a ballad to me due to the lyrics and it’s kinda mid paced? Loved the version they did of this in the most recent tour, gorgeous song imo.

High result for after the love has gone which is in stark contrast to where i have placed it as i have already revealed its not in my final top 25 steps songs, thats not to say its a bad song, its more they have so so much better for me.

Just missing out on my Top 5 Steps songs is You’ll Be Sorry, this is another one I think may be marmite? I don’t really hear people talking about this one much. But I just love it, upbeat, catchy, fun but with a message, classic Steps again for me !

You are def not alone in your opinion and i think some of my own choices most fans will disagree with, but thats what these top 25s are about its about seeing how we all rate the songs and while some are universally popular other songs arent.

I do like you'll be sorry, its a strong chorus that stands out, its also included in my own reveal but where you will just have to wait and see.

Story Of A Heart and Living In A Lie are fantastic choices, especially the latter.

 

Glitter & Gold, After The Loves Has Gone and You'll Be Sorry are all great songs too and have definitely had their moments where I've loved them.

Kicking off my Top 5 is It’s The Way You Make Me Feel, the beautiful mid paced ballad. I absolutely adore this song and it was a contender for my top 3 definitely. Again I hadn’t listened to much of Steps prior to their comeback but when I listened back to their discography this one completely stood out when I went through it.
