May 3, 20223 yr I’d say Before I Cry is closest but it sounds like a whole new sound from her as well. Gaga ballads in the past both across ASIB and even on some of her pop records (especially Joanne but even on Born This Way) the more ballad esque moments have had a tinge of country to them but I don’t think this does. This is dramatic in the sense that the vocals are powerful but it’s more of a pop sound. :wub:
May 6, 20223 yr It doesn't remind any particular song but has loads of her "essence" in it: TEOG, Hair, Before I Cry and thematically it's fairly close to Million Reasons.
