So starting out with my 10 songs that didn't make the final cut are

10th After the Love has gone

I liked this way more when it was released but its not one of their bigger hits i listen to much anymore, at the time i was disappointed it didnt go at least top 3 but number 5 in the UK is very respectable although here in Ireland it only made number 18.

09th Loves got a hold on my heart.

I have similar feelings about loves got a hold on my heart to after the love is gone, you just wait for the song to really take off into another gear but it doesn't really happen, while i like both, i don't listen to them much any more. A nice UK number 2 for them and here in Ireland it was their 4th consecutive top 10 hit.

I like the idea you’re just posting the ten that didn’t make it straight away! Ready to kick off with your top 25 tomorrow! Love it!

8th on my list that didnt make it is probably a choice all steps fans will disagree with. Like after the love has gone and loves got a hold on my heart i don't dislike the song but don't listen to all that much is its the way you make me feel. To be fair it did show a different side to steps but for me they have so so many songs that are miles better that deserved to have done aswell as this. Again showing many disagree on my opinion its the way you make me feel returned them to the Irish top 10 given them a number 8 peak with this after their 5 previous singles all missed the top 10 with 1 of them missing the top 20.

7th is heartbreak in this city, i do like this a good but but Steps have just so many great songs it didnt make my final cut, i thought Michelle fitted in very well but equally you just need Lisa as well. Like so many songs since Steps reformed this deserved more success than it got. Least it got to number 15 on the download charts.

First none single from this section is no more tears on the dancefloor, another great tune showing steps have great songs outside their singles. When i first listened to the album this really stuck in my head and i still really like it. It went over my head initially that Darren Hayes of Savage Garden was involved in this track, and its good to see continued working with Steps aswell.

Next up to miss out is you'll be sorry, another solid Steps song, i kinda see why it was one of their lowest selling singles at the time but years later the songs still feels very right for Steps.
