Wasted Tears another very solid album track that definitely has that Eurovision feels to it which is a compliment.

Next up is here and now, sometimes i feel this and say youll be mine are cut from the same cloth its just that here and now isnt nearly as good but yet good with a very catchy chorus. Big difference in the UK and Ireland chart performance on this as it only peaked at number 23 here in Ireland.

Victorious, another great album track from the brilliant what the future holds part 2 album, and its great having having some of the lads vocals heard on this one aswell.

A choice i know nearly all fans will disagree with me having this so low, its just narrowly missed out and again its a really great song among so many its just the songs above it i slightly enjoy more although i have to say i really love this tour performance of it its one of my fave performance of the song from them. This was also their very first Irish Top 10/5 peaking at number 4 here and to be be fair the song really helped their career and further showed they were certainly a far cry from a one hit wonder.

Wow some great surprises in the songs that just missed the list.

Really looking forward to see what your countdown brings!

So here we go starting off the countdown at number 25 is Better the devil you know, i was tied on this and one for sorrow for 25th place but as i love the original of this more it swayed the vote for me, i would have prefered themn to have covered a less iconic Kylie song but if this was never done by Kylie and steps were the first to record it id be a huge fan if that makes sense.

Better in the Steps version is nice enough. Kylie’s version is still my favorite though

Really curious to see what the rest of your countdown will bring!

Number 23 And following on is another song representing tears on the dancefloor, once again highlighting they came back with a great album that didnt only have some great singles.

For number 22 i go back to the olden days and it a single, a UK top 5 and Irish top 20, this returned them to the Irish top 20 after Deeper shade of blue missed out, by peaking at number 24. As i have said in other threads this was a different sounds for Steps but yet kept what make Steps so great. This really should have been a big hit all across Europe.

Generally i am a huge fan of live versions and listen to live versions when good more than studio versions.
